DDC1975.ca - my webfolio website

In 2017, I created a new website (entire makeover) for my online portfolio with WordPress.

This was the first time using WordPress for DDC1975. CA, in the past, I used to code in XHTML/HTML with CSS, but this time, it was a good idea to try something different and I always use the TEXT (HTML) Editor in there and getting familiar with WordPress, plug-ins, customized theme and coding with CSS / HTML / JavaScript & PHP.

Urban ASL

Tools used in Web Technologies: WordPress Framework and Plugins, Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 (Photoshop and Dreamweaver), Javascript, PHP, CSS, XTHML and HTML5.

This is a new volunteer project for founder / owner of www.URBANASL.com, and it will be running under the WordPress Framework with branding, logo, some graphic design work.

It will be based on ASL videos, eCommerce online store and register for their services, workshops and classes.

The Web project is underway and it should be finished by first week of September 2017.

Gone For Fish Website

Tools used in Web Technologies: WordPress Framework and Plugins, Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 (Photoshop and Dreamweaver), Javascript, PHP, CSS, XTHML and HTML5.

Created this project with my good friend Steve (non-techie, just fisherman), a WordPress-Operated website called Gone for Fish (gone4fish.com).

Changed the project from the old website (BC Deaf Fly Fishing) to this new WordPress with the Businesses / Affiliate Ads for banners and also, it will give users (Anglers) some flexibility to insert placemarkers anywhere on the google maps for others to see where good fishes are.

The web project should be underway by the end of August 2017.

Deaf Community Foundation of British Columbia

Converted from their previous website in HTML5/CSS to WordPress Framework with several plug-ins installed.

The Web project is underway with Board Directors for Deaf Community Foundation of B.C. and it is one of ongoing projects with them since 2008.

Future Belleville Deaf Centre

Volunteered and created the website, domain, others. The Web project is underway with Board Directors of Future Belleville Deaf Centre and it is one of ongoing projects with them since 2014. They are going through some big changes and others this year and their website is on hold.

Belleville Association of the Deaf

Developed and created domain, website and others in XHTML/CSS and Javascript. This was my first volunteer project when I moved here in Ontario and I was on the board for two years and offered my time as a web designer as well.

SmokeHardCore Site

Tools used in Web Technologies: WordPress with Premium Theme, HTML5, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 (Photoshop and Dreamweaver), and Javascript.

Partnered with my friend, Steve (again) to create a WordPress website to sell T-shirts based on the concept of ”Smoke” and ‘Hardcore”. It will be mostly on graphic design and others for T-shirts. There might be some contests for others to participle for best design and etc.

The web project is in development.

Run the Matrix Site

Domain: Pending

Tools used in Web Technologies: Possible HTML5, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 (Photoshop and Dreamweaver) and Javascript.

This Project is a website I would like to send a tribute to The Matrix Movies and this is a volunteer project with the Zoomquuilt, a hypnotic, infinitely zooming images and others.

TMH Furnitureworks Design

Created new domain and website for them in 2007 and worked with them for three years as a part time web designer. Coded with Flash, ActionScript, HTML and CSS.

DDC1975.ca's Second Portfolio in 2006

Developed website and created some animations by using Adobe Flash in 2005 but it was in the process while I was in school. After I completed all B.C.I.T courses and I decided to develop new website. You could see some unfinished sections in there and all graphics were created by myself.

Evolution Landscapes

Created frontpage site and completed website on a CMS (SilverStripe - the files were removed) for one of my FIRST contract projects after I obtained an Associate Certificate in Web Technologies from B.C.I.T. in 2006 but unfortunately things did not work out and it was just one of my case studies for now.

Graphic Design: A Contest

Created a poster for fun at the contest in 2007 - they gave us three different stock images and we had to create a poster out of it.
